Last month Apple has launched its newest product, the iPhone 4S. Before the product was launched, is actually a lot of rumors about this phone. There is a rumor that is true, but there are also rumors that do not exist on this phone. However, because this phone is out, so we can find out what features of the iPhone 4S.
Designs - As with most other smartphones, the iPhone 4S uses Candybar style with dimensions of 115.2 x 58.6 x 9.3 mm and weighs 140g. In addition, the phone also has a screen resolution of 640 x 960 pixels. The advantages of this phone is of bodynya. From some of the tests performed, the body of the iPhone 4S has a fairly strong resistance class. The phone is available in two colors, namely black and white.

Has iOS 5 1 Fixed iPhone’s Poor Battery Life Issue
Ever since Apple launched iPhone 4S, users have complained about poor battery life and despite Apples claim iPhone 4S battery life was worse than iPhone 4.
Apple released iOS 5.0.1, which included bugs fixes that affected battery life, but iPhone 4S users complained that it didnt fix the issue in their case and in some cases users (not just iPhone 4S users) complained that they started observing the issue only after upgrading to iOS 5.0.1.
Apple acknowledged that it may have not fixed all the bugs affecting battery life and will do so in a future iOS software update.
So as promised (though after quite a long time), Apple released iOS 5.1 yesterday, which according to the iOS 5.1 release notesalso addresses bugs that affects battery life.

Samsung Unveils ChatON 2 0 Gives Sneak Peeks Of Its Smart TV Smart Hub Ahead Of CES
Samsung is keeping its fans entertained during the lull between Christmas and New Years with a several announcements and teasers: a CES 2013 Smart TV teaser video, a sneak peek at its Smart Hub, a content platform for Samsung Smart TV, and a new version of ChatON that turns its cross-platform messaging app into a social media network.
First ChatON gained traction in its efforts to render SMS obsolete. Now with ChatON 2.0, Samsung is positioning the service, available in over 200 countries in 60 languages, as a “micro” social networking platform where users can create personal profiles and post status updates for friends to comment on.
The new version also makes it easier to leave comments or content, including photos and videos, for friends in “the Trunk,” which Samsung describes as an alternative to, or at least a first-stop before sharing on Facebook and other social networks. ChatON 2.0 adds a multiscreen feature that makes it possible to chat up with up to five connected devices on a single account. Users can invite friends to ChatON conversations from different platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Weibo.
The new Smart Hub’s updated home screen allows users to simultaneously watch live broadcasts and movies while using apps and looking at personal photos. Samsung also said that in 2013, Smart Hub will offer a “more intuitive experience with various contents, live TV broadcasts, VOD, apps, Internet and such.” The “Flipping” function will allow users to flip through five screens like a book with Samsung’s motion control function.
What does Samsung want consumers to use the Smart Hub and ChatON 2.0 on? Presumably its Smart TV, which won’t be launched until CES in two weeks.

The long awaited launch of the iPhone on Verizon Wireless is upon us. Verizon’s version of Apple’s iPhone4 was available for pre-order last Monday and will hit Verizon and Apple retail stores Feb. 10, exciting some area Verizon managers who expect increases in sales.
Billy Gerweck, one of Mr. Williams’ store managers, said there are two main reasons Verizon customers get better cell phone reception. Managers at some Verizon stores anticipate the iPhone to increase foot traffic in their stores, adding to overall sales. “A lot of people are sold on the idea of the iPhone rather than the iPhone itself,” he said. Verizon’s iPhone will cost the same as AT&T’s — $199 for the 16 gigabyte model and $299 for the 32 gigabyte model. Verizon also charges a $35 activation fee.
But AT&T customers who want the Verizon iPhone will have to pay a little more. AT&T’s termination fees depend on whether customers began their contract before or after June 1, 2010, and when they purchased the iPhone. If you bought the iPhone before December, the fee would be reduced by $10 for each month you’ve owned it. Eric Marx, 24, of Ridge, who has a Verizon Blackberry, never bought the iPhone through AT&T after hearing friends complain about service issues.
As you may have heard, Verizon and Apple will start selling a version of the iPhone 4 for that carrier later this week. Q. What are the odds that Verizon will have an updated iPhone this summer?

This year, WAC showed off its first commercial results, but the operator keynotes put another burning concern, spectrum regulation for 4G, top of the agenda. The cellco chiefs are calling for a far "lighter touch" in future spectrum policies, more suited to a world driven by fast, always-on connectivity and cloud services. "As 4G and the cloud proliferate, customer expectations for openness and seamless access to all services will increase," said AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson.
Given the huge amount of investment carriers must make in 4G networks and cloud services, they need "a predictable regulatory environment with a light touch. "Vodafone CEO Vittorio Colao also called for regulatory approaches that would encourage openness, investment and competition, and predictably criticized over-burdensome or repetitive spectrum fees. Telcos are the biggest contributors to ICT investment, Alierta said.
In a keynote address at the Mobile World Congress here, AT&T Chairman Randall Stephenson today prodded carriers, manufacturers and regulators around the globe to create openness and interoperability in mobile devices, platforms and networks. His remarks even included some polite digs at Apple for requiring iTunes songs and App Store apps to run on Apple devices.
Speaking to a global audience, Stephenson said wireless smartphones and tablets need to be able to operate across countries and geographies in what is known as "spectrum harmony." He noted that a lack of international interoperability is currently a major obstacle for wireless telecommunications.
"If our object is to grow the [wireless] pie, interoperability is necessary," he said. Stephenson was joined in the crowded keynote session by several executives from carriers around the globe who also issued calls for openness. Wang Jianzhou, chairman of China Mobile, also touched on the theme of keeping networks and devices open, noting that his company has pursued interoperability with carriers in Japan and South Korea.
"An open and interoperable environment ... will drive mobile broadband, and mobile broadband with the cloud will drive the next wave." "The customer experience is agnostic," he noted. Noting that the songs people buy on iTunes are currently "Apple OS- and device-dependent," he said, "but well see [marketing and financial] models less dependent on the device" in the future.
Regarding video downloads, Stephenson said that half of tablets and laptops today are streaming video content in the U.S. but customers cant easily port those videos from one device to another, and they incur some expense if they do.
